On the 22nd, NewJeans members celebrated their 2nd debut anniversary by expressing their gratitude to their fans, Bunnies, through ADOR. They reflected on the past two years, acknowledging the challenges they have faced and the growth they have experienced as a group. They also expressed their belief that they can overcome any future obstacles with the support and unity of their members. The past two years have been a whirlwind, filled with ups and downs, but they are grateful for the love and energy they have received from their dedicated fandom.

NewJeans has recently faced allegations of plagiarism. The controversy erupted when the British band Shakatak brought to light that NewJeans’s latest track, “Bubble Gum,”bore striking similarities to their own song, “Easier Said Than Done.”

ADOR responded to the accusation of plagiarism by stating that the two songs in question are distinct in terms of chord progression (D Major9 x2- C# minor7 – F# mi-nor7), tempo, overall mood, and flow. They further asserted that the claim of unauthorized use of music is entirely false.

Last month, NewJeans released their Japanese single titled “Supernatural” . Their fanmeeting in Tokyo Dome, which drew in 90,000 viewers, gained significant attention, especially for their cover performance of “Aoi Sangosho” .
