Just in time for Africa Day on May 25, Coca-Cola has unveiled a new creation that pays homage to the dynamism of African culture.
The name of the beverage is Wozzaah, derived from the isiZulu phrase meaning “come here.”This vibrant can will beckon to you from the shelves, whispering its invitation.
According to reports, the beverage has a flavor reminiscent of a blend of Coke Zero and a “fiery fruit taste”. While the specific fruits used in the recipe have not been disclosed by the brand, consumers can anticipate a burst of tropical flavors.
The new drinks come in a vibrant purple and yellow can.
According to Coca-Cola’s team of food scientists, they were unable to determine the specific flavor of the drink.
Last week, during a tasting session at the office, it was noted that each person had a unique experience. Therefore, even if we disclose the ingredients, your personal perception of Africa will influence the flavor notes that you detect.
In honor of the launch, Coca-Cola has joined forces with popular Eswatini singer and global music sensation, Uncle Waffles. As part of this collaboration, she will be holding a concert in Johannesburg, South Africa, and also participating in various digital events, such as a fully customizable Snapchat lens.
The brand has also collaborated with WafflesnCream, the first skateboarding company in Nigeria, to produce globally available merchandise that can be purchased online.
Coca-Cola Creations has a history of launching unique products, such as a beverage specifically crafted to mimic the taste of the Metaverse.
While it is uncertain if this exclusive beverage will be sold in the US, the merchandise can be bought on the Coca-Cola website and is a fantastic opportunity to get some cool items to show your love for your preferred soft drink.
Not only Coca-Cola, but also beverage brand Liquid Death has been showcasing their creativity this summer. They have recently launched a giveaway, with the grand prize being an actual jet, to one lucky fan.
