New muzzle attachment in Warzone Season 5 takes over close and long-range meta

The Season 5 update for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone saw the quiet introduction of the Quartermaster Suppressor, which players are claiming to be one of the top attachments in the game.

Despite not being mentioned in the Season 5 patch notes, the Quartermaster Suppressor attachment was added in the update by Activision. To obtain the muzzle, players must activate its Armory Unlock and complete eight daily challenges.

Upon finishing, it is possible for players to equip any primary weapon with the Quartermaster Suppressor, which enhances gun kick and reduces horizontal and vertical recoil. This attachment has become popular among players due to its smaller impact on ADS and sprint-to-fire speeds, with only a six percent decrease, compared to other muzzles that have a more severe movement penalty.

JGOD, a content creator for Warzone, recently outlined the benefits of using the latest muzzle over the ZEHMN 35 Compensated Flash Hider or VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor, which were previously considered the top choices.

“Despite some individuals still preferring the ZEHM, JGOD argued that when comparing the two, the differences are not significant. He pointed out that the ADS and sprint-to-fire speeds are practically the same, but with the ZEHM, there is a noticeable difference in recoil control.”

According to JGOD, the attachment’s ability to be used on any weapon makes it a highly desirable choice and potentially the top new feature since the introduction of the JAK BFB muzzle.

“According to JGOD, we have never had an attachment that is as pleasant to use.”

According to past occurrences, it is possible that an excessively strong attachment may be weakened, therefore players are advised to equip this attachment promptly in order to experience it in its current form.

When the JAK BFB muzzle dominated Warzone in March, Raven Software reacted by nerfing the attachment. The developers received criticism for weakening an attachment that was widely used, but they stood firm in their decision.
