New MW3 Conversion Kit brings back classic sniper and it’s already a problem

A new Aftermarket Part, which transforms the RPK into a semi-auto Sniper Rifle, has been introduced in MW3 and Warzone. The part’s “insane”damage has quickly made it popular in both games.

The JAK Cataclysm Kit can be obtained by completing the Week 2 Weekly Challenges and it transforms the MW2 LMG into the legendary Barrett. 50cal. This update also includes a significant 500% increase in headshot damage and a 333% increase in upper torso damage for the RPK.

The outcome is a Sniper Rifle that is capable of taking out heavily-armored players in Warzone with only two shots. At close to medium range, enemies can be eliminated with two shots to the body, while those at farther distances may require a headshot followed by a second shot.

Despite lacking the one-shot abilities of snipers such as the MORS or KATT-AMR, the JAK Cataclysm’s exceptional mobility and rapid fire rate make it highly effective when wielded with precision.

In his video on July 31, WhosImmortal, a popular Warzone YouTuber, discussed the RPK conversion and praised its “wild”damage. TeeP, a former CDL champion, also shared a clip of himself dominating matches with the weapon and expressed concern that it could become a problem.

The JAK Cataclysm Kit is not only effective in Warzone, but also in Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer. The RPK equipped with this Aftermarket Part is particularly strong, as it can eliminate enemies in one shot at mid-range and even from a distance with a headshot, without having to worry about armor.

The evidence of ‘FaZe Scope’s’ skill was demonstrated when he shared a clip of himself dominating a lobby on Afghan. His effortless precision resulted in enemy after enemy falling to a single bullet with rapid succession.

The future will reveal whether the RPK with the JAK Cataclysm Kit will maintain its current level of strength in the upcoming weeks. If it begins to overpower other weapons, it is likely that it will be adjusted in a future update.

The upcoming MW3 and Warzone Season 5 Reloaded on August 21 will be the next major update, potentially bringing changes as well as the addition of the Spear and Torque 35.
