In the eleventh season of Overwatch 2, players can look forward to the addition of Mythic Weapon Skins as a new cosmetic option. This update will also feature the latest Mythic skin, Calamity Empress Ashe.
The developers have announced that Ashe will be getting a Power Rangers-inspired skin as Calamity Empress Ashe for the upcoming Season 11 of Overwatch 2.
The most recent addition to the Ultrawatch skin collection is inspired by Kamen Rider and Super Sentai. To unlock Calamity Ashe, players will need to collect 50 Mythic Prisms. This skin also includes three additional configurations, each requiring its own set of Prisms.
In addition, there will be a mid-season update featuring the first-ever Mythic Weapon Skins, which will include unique visual effects and special sounds.
The initial Mythic Weapon Skin, which is Reinhardt’s Bound Demon Weapon Skin, is scheduled to launch on July 23. It boasts unique effects that set it apart from other cosmetics.
Season 11 is coming on June 20.
According to a blog post by Blizzard, this weapon skin will feature “incredible powers,”which will increase in strength with each match played. Additionally, it will add a captivating visual effect to Reinhardt’s Earthshatter ultimate, enveloping enemies in a “fiery surge.”
While the skin will not provide any additional benefits when equipped in traditional game modes, it is possible that Blizzard may introduce an arcade mode in the future that utilizes the unique features of the skin.
According to Blizzard, the base skin can be unlocked with 50 Mythic Prisms, and players can also unlock extra levels at 10 Mythic Prisms, which includes a Weapon Flourish emote, elimination visual effects, and reactive effects.
Season 11 of Overwatch 2 is scheduled to launch on June 20 and will bring back the highly anticipated Pink Mercy charity skin, introduce a new Runasapi push map, and make improvements to several of the game’s most frustrating maps.
