New record set in Elden Ring with Level 1 one-shot combo

The extensive RPG elements in Elden Ring allow for extensive experimentation from those who enjoy crafting builds. A player has taken this to the extreme, achieving high levels of damage with a Level 1 character.

According to Automaton Media, Koori Soda, a Japanese streamer, aimed to achieve the highest damage output from a single attack by a first-level character. Their initial effort resulted in an impressive 33k damage against a weakened Fire Giant.

The initial method of attack targets the opponent very specifically, taking advantage of the Hemorrhage status effect which inflicts damage based on the enemy’s health. This is particularly effective against the Fire Giant, as it has one of the largest health pools in the game.

The character is strategically aiming for the giant’s vulnerable leg, utilizing the Blood Grossmesser (curved blade) and the Seppuku Ash of War skill to maximize damage and inflict a bleeding effect. This skill also boosts Attack Power, increasing the character’s ability to cause blood loss.

Afterwards, they decided to try a completely different approach and exceeded all expectations. This time, their focus was on the Flame Chariot. Utilizing the opening at the top of the chariot, they executed a plunging attack that resulted in a massive critical hit.

Sooda effectively utilized a Sleep Pot to put the chariot to sleep and then proceeded to enhance their abilities with various buffs, such as the Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear and the Howl of Shabriri incantation, in order to inflict additional health damage through the Madness status effect.

The cumulative effect of these factors is an astonishing 455,866 damage inflicted in a single attack, easily toppling the chariot.

It’s exciting to witness players pushing the boundaries in the original Elden Ring. The impending release of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC leaves us wondering what new feats will be possible.
