New Revival Mode Coming to Apex Legends in Season 22: Similar to Warzone Resurgence

“In Season 22, Apex Legends will introduce a new mode called Revival, inspired by Call of Duty: Warzone’s Resurgence mode. This mode allows players to stay in the action for a longer period of time.”

The mode, called Trios takeover, allows players to join matches as usual. However, they will not have access to Respawn Beacons or Banners. Instead, if a player is eliminated, they will have to wait for a timer to respawn as long as there is at least one surviving player on their team.

If your team manages to survive without you, a Drop-In Sequence will start and place you near the safest teammate.

The timer will initially be set to a minimum of 30 seconds, and it will progressively increase with each round. After Round 4, Revival will cease to be available, and players will no longer have the option to respawn if they are eliminated. In the event that all players on a squad are eliminated before their timers expire, the squad will be eliminated from the game.

Revival brings a fast-paced twist to the battle royale.

The Revival feature in Apex Legends is reminiscent of Resurgence in Call of Duty, offering a similar experience. The gameplay will be quick and adrenaline-fueled, with players racing to survive and revive their fallen comrades.

Normal maps will be used for the Revival game mode and the rotation for Season 22 will consist of E-District, Broken Moon, and Storm Point. Additional information about Revival is expected to be included in the patch notes, and we will make sure to provide updates as they are released.

This mode will initially be accessible through Trios during Season 22, and the Revival feature will not be included in any other modes. However, the developers announced during the press event for the upcoming season that they plan to eventually transfer Revival from Trios to its own separate mode.

Adding another mode for players to enjoy, in addition to Battle Royale, Mixtape, and LTMs, would provide them with more options. During the press event, the developers also confirmed their intention to reintroduce Quads and Solos with modifications, although they did not specify a specific timeline.
