The Isekai genre is gaining popularity at an incredible rate, much like a viral cat meme on the internet. As a result, DC has announced their newest addition to the trend with the upcoming anime, Suicide Squad ISEKAI.
The buzz surrounding this series has been increasing since its initial announcement. Recently, a trailer was released, showcasing the beloved troublemaker, Harley Quinn.

DC, Warner Bros. Japan, and WIT Studio have joined forces to produce an ISEKAI anime adaptation of Suicide Squad. They have also revealed their plans to release weekly trailers showcasing new characters. This week’s trailer features Harley Quinn and can be viewed below.
The 30-second trailer showcases Harley Quinn’s wild and engaging escapades. The animation is of high quality, and it appears that the series takes place in a futuristic cyberpunk universe.

Despite being an original anime, the plot is still somewhat unpredictable. The studio has disclosed that the series will revolve around Harley Quinn and her team in a fantasy world known as ISEKAI, which is inhabited by dragons, orcs, and other mystical creatures.
