New Trend: Cotton Candy Burritos Take TikTok by Storm

There is a current trend on TikTok known as the ‘cotton candy burrito’. However, unlike the traditional meat version, this one is filled with a significant amount of sugar.

A unique dessert was introduced at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona for the upcoming 2024 NFL season: a cotton candy burrito. Mark Dalton, the senior vice president of media relations for the Arizona Cardinals, shared a photo of the decadent treat on Twitter/X, labeling it as a combination of ice cream and candy wrapped in a fluffy layer of cotton candy.

The description of the food lineup at State Farm Stadium, according to the Cardinals, includes a cotton candy burrito filled with Fruity Pebbles, Fruit Loops, marshmallows, skittles, mini M&M’s, gummy bears, and sprinkles.

The “showstopper”of the season’s menu, as listed on the official website, is the cotton candy burrito. Other notable items on the menu include flaming hot Cheeto chicken tenders.

The TikTok platform has popularized the trend of candied burritos, leading to a phenomenon where users create their own unique versions filled with ice cream and an assortment of candies.

Despite its widespread popularity, there are still many skeptics who are not convinced by the sugary creation and express their doubts.

One person commented on Dalton’s post, stating that it was “absolutely disgusting,”while another likened it to “instant diabetes.”

One person exclaimed, “This gave me a new cavity!”and went on to suggest that “anyone who orders this should be sentenced to a year in jail.”

A few, nonetheless, were completely supportive, commenting: “That appears amazing.”

“That looks unbelievably delicious,”another person commented, clearly captivated by the new snack.

In 2024, this is not the only unusual food combination that has been introduced. In July, individuals were blending KitKat bars with Heinz ketchup, resulting in a surprisingly unique taste.
