New Warzone Meme Weapon: A Surprisingly Deadly Addition

Warzone and MW3 Season 5 Reloaded brought in two fresh weapons, one of which is the Spear. Even though it may not seem like it, this new melee weapon is quite lethal in Warzone as it can swiftly take down enemies.

The Spear stands out from other melee weapons due to its ability to be thrown, providing an advantage in combat. It has the potential to take down enemies in just two shots if they have full shields, and can also eliminate them in one shot regardless of where the weapon hits if they are not wearing any armor.

This applies to all distances, as the Spear will do the same amount of damage no matter how far it is thrown, as long as it hits its target within the specified range.

Although it may have a reputation as a meme weapon, some players, such as ‘RoloPoloTV’, utilize its stealth capabilities to ambush their unsuspecting targets, making it a surprisingly deadly weapon.

Despite being praised as “fun but not viable”by popular CoD content creator Metaphor, the weapon is not considered meta. This is due to its reliance on accuracy and limited ammunition, with only three shots available before needing to restock or retrieve thrown Spears.

Although it can be risky, it leads to some amazing moments on the field. Metaphor recently posted a video of himself leaping off a building and successfully executing a 360 shot with the Spear before ultimately being taken down by fall damage.

To effectively use the Spear, it is advisable to reduce the health of enemy Operators before engaging with them. This will increase your chances of achieving a one-shot kill with the newly introduced melee weapon.

We suggest combining the melee weapon with powerful Primary choices in your loadout like the SOA Subverter or the TAQ Eradicator, both of which have gained popularity in the current meta due to the STG44 being nerfed.
