Based on the Netflix Global Top 10 list, the TV show “The 8 Show”received 1.7 million views and was watched for a total of 11.9 million hours from May 13th to 19th, ranking it 7th in the non-English TV category.
This rank is less than satisfactory in comparison to other recent pieces, which typically place higher in their first week in the same category.

As they compete in a risky yet enticing game where they “earn money as time goes by”, their lives take a thrilling turn. Despite concluding last month, tvN’s “Queen of Tears”continues to maintain its popularity. It has accumulated 1.8 million views and 43.1 million hours watched, securing the 6th spot in rankings.
“The plot of “Queen of Tears”centers on the tumultuous relationship and eventual reconciliation between Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won), the third-generation heiress of Queens Group, and Baek Hyun-woo (Kim Soo-hyun), a farmer’s son from Yongdu-ri. The drama also spans over three years, covering the ups and downs of their marriage.”
During the counting period, JTBC’s “The Atypical Family”premiered on May 5th and secured the 8th spot with 1.5 million views and 9.8 million hours watched.
“In “The Atypical Family,”the focus is on Bok Gwi-ju (Jang Ki-yong) and his family, who possess extraordinary powers but are struggling with deteriorating abilities caused by chronic illness and difficulties adapting to modern life. Their fate takes a turn when they become entangled with Do Da-hae (Chun Woo-hee).”
The TV non-English category’s first place was secured by “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – To the Hashira Training”.
