New Yorker Attacks Twitch Streamer with Racial Slurs for Public Filming

Twitch streamer JustKeth recently experienced a confrontation while in New York, where a woman verbally assaulted her and used racial slurs due to her public broadcasting. It’s not uncommon for IRL Twitch streamers to face challenges when filming in public spaces.

For example, a fellow content creator was chased by an irate individual in a park in Amsterdam who objected to potentially being recorded.

In this latest incident, JustKeth, who has built a following of 78,000 users by sharing her travel experiences, was streaming her adventures in New York City when she encountered an aggressive local.

JustKeth is recognized for broadcasting her travels and engaging with her audience.

“It’s not on your face,” Keth responded, trying to deescalate the situation.

The woman escalated her tirade, exclaiming, “What the f*ck is y’all doing? Do you know me? Keep your f*cking camera out my face! You dumb b*tch.”

In an attempt to respond, Keth reiterated, “It’s not on your face!” as she sought refuge in a nearby Starbucks, but the woman followed her inside to continue the encounter.

Inside the café, the woman shouted, “Come in here with your New York sh*t. You better get your f*cking camera out my face. Didn’t I tell you? You crazy b*tch! Is you crazy? Caucasian b*tch!”

The confrontation escalated further as the woman hurled racial insults at Keth during her outburst.

Keth addressed her viewers with a sigh, stating, “Welcome to America. Guys, she’s not leaving. What should I do?”

This incident is not an isolated case; Keth has previously faced discomforting interactions during her travels. Earlier this year, she encountered a man who expected her to pay for his meal based on German filming regulations.
