NewJeans Danielle Emotionally Speaks Out About Min Hee Jin’s Dismissal: ‘I’m Going Through A Rough Time’

The news of Min Hee Jin’s dismissal spread quickly after Danielle’s heartfelt message about the situation was published.

On August 27, ADOR made an official announcement stating that Min Hee Jin would be stepping down from her position as CEO. The role has since been taken over by Human Resources expert Kim Joo Young. However, Min Hee Jin will continue to work as an internal director and assist with the production of NewJeans.

After being removed, a conflict arose between Min Hee Jin and HYBE, as her legal representatives asserted that her dismissal was unjust.

Further exacerbating the situation, certain lore-related content from NewJeans has been eliminated from their online platforms. In addition, Shin Woo Seok, the director of Dolphiners Films, recently revealed on Instagram that they would no longer be able to collaborate with ADOR and NewJeans due to ADOR’s revised policies. This has led to speculation among netizens that HYBE may be deliberately undermining the group.

Despite the ongoing issues and arguments, it comes as no surprise that the members have been affected by the brewing conflicts.

On September 3, Korean news outlet Joynews24 published NewJeans member Danielle’s statement on fan platform Phoning, in which she expressed her thoughts on Min Hee Jin’s removal as ADOR CEO.

Despite facing challenges due to changes, Danielle opened up about going through a tough time. Nevertheless, she reassured fans of her and NewJeans’ unwavering love and appreciation.

“Our Bunnies must have been very worried and confused. I’m going through a rough time and I get worried a lot after CEO Min Hee Jin was dismissed. I was in a bit of a mental disarray for a while and I was very anxious. But there wasn’t a day that I didn’t think about my fans.

I always want to show Bunnies bright and happy sides, but please don’t forget that we will always be grateful to our fans.”

In addition to Danielle, Minji, her bandmate, also expressed her thoughts on social media regarding the HYBE and ADOR dispute and its impact on the group.

On May 8, Danielle interacted with fans during a Phoning session and addressed the concerns of Bunnies who noticed her being quieter than usual during NewJeans’ birthday livestream for Minji. This was reported as other news.

“I appreciate the concern and support from the Bunnies who were worried about my quieter demeanor,”Danielle shared. “Even though my heart may feel heavy at times, please rest assured that we are all diligently practicing and preparing for our upcoming events.”
