In 2024, K-pop fans have heavily criticized HYBE, as the multi-label company has faced numerous accusations regarding its treatment of artists, connections to controversial individuals, ongoing feud with ADOR, alleged manipulation of media, and other controversies.

On July 30, internet users expressed their opinions on a discussion board titled “Real-Time Flower Wreaths Sent to HYBE.”The original poster (OP) then shared several photos depicting a line of flower wreaths, criticizing HYBE for their “ineptitude”and “avarice.”
