On October 25, NewJeans was honored with the Frontier Award during the “11th Edaily Culture Awards,” which took place at the Grand Theater of the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
The “Edaily Culture Awards,” which is organized by the Kwak Jea-sun Foundation for Cultures and hosted by the news platform Edaily, celebrates excellence across six artistic disciplines, including theater, classical music, dance, traditional Korean music, musicals, and concerts.
At the awards presentation, NewJeans member Hyein expressed heartfelt gratitude, stating, “Receiving such a unique award at this significant event really means a lot to us. Throughout this journey, I have come to appreciate how many amazing individuals we are surrounded by.” With emotion in her voice, she added, “I firmly believe that this profession is made possible by countless individuals, and it provides us the opportunity to create cherished memories with remarkable people, including our fans, affectionately known as Bunnies. I have come to understand that these moments may not always be within reach.”
In addition, Hyein remarked, “We feel so fortunate to share our passion with an audience that shows us boundless affection. The five of us didn’t anticipate forming such a close bond, yet we have become an integral part of each other’s lives and are dedicated to delivering outstanding performances.”
She wrapped up her acceptance speech by emphasizing, “We are sincerely thankful to everyone who supports us in chasing our dreams. With this prestigious recognition, we aspire to be a group that effortlessly integrates into the everyday lives of our fans through our exceptional music.”
