On May 8, the agency ADOR, representing NewJeans, released a statement announcing that Hyein from NewJeans had fractured her foot and would need to refrain from participating in certain activities.

We are grateful to the NewJeans fans for their unwavering support and love.
We aim to offer updates about the health status and upcoming schedules of our member Hyein.
In April, while practicing, Hyein felt pain in her foot and was taken to the hospital for a thorough examination. The doctors discovered a minor fracture during the examination.
Ever since, she has been committed to her treatment and recuperation, following the guidance of medical experts to limit any actions that may put strain on her injured foot.
As a consequence, Hyein has opted to abstain from engaging in official engagements, such as music broadcasts and performances for the double single ‘How Sweet,’ and instead prioritize rest and recuperation.
Hyein will adapt her participation in schedules, other than music broadcasts or performances, according to her condition and medical advice.
We kindly request your understanding and assure you that we will make every effort to ensure Hyein’s return to her fans in good health.
