The girl group NewJeans participated in Lollapalooza, a major American music festival just one year after their debut. They attended the “Summer Sonic 2023″held at the ZOZO Marin Stadium in Tokyo, Japan yesterday. They gave a 40-minute performance on the main stage under the scorching sun, and the audience responded enthusiastically.!
NewJeans have been invited to participate in Summer Sonic before their official debut in Japan, which is enough to show their popularity in the local area. This is the first time for NewJeans to perform in Japan. Although the time was set at 1:00 noon earlier, it still attracted 30,000 spectators to come to the scene to have a look. NewJeans performed 11 songs including “Ditto”, “OMG”, “Cookie”, “Attention”, “HYPE BOY”, “Super Shy”, “ETA”, “Cool With You”, “Get Up”and “ASAP”with the accompaniment of the band.
