In response, ADOR, a subsidiary of the prominent HYBE corporation, proceeded to file a lawsuit with the Seoul Central District Court seeking confirmation of the contract’s validity. ADOR later stated, “The appearance on Kim Hyun-jung’s News Show was decided and conducted independently by the artists without consulting the company. We were unaware of the appearance prior to its occurrence.”
