However, the CEO of ADOR refuted these allegations, stating that it would be impossible for her to take control of the entire company. ADOR CEO Denies She Tried to Usurp Management Rights From HYBE
On April 24, 2024, Min Hee Jin, the CEO of ADOR, urgently held a press conference in Seoul’s Seocho-gu and refuted allegations of attempting to gain complete control of ADOR’s management.
She clarified, “There was never any plan, intention, or execution to take over the label.”
Despite her initial frustration, she clarified, “It’s not that I am betraying HYBE, but rather that HYBE is betraying me.”Min Hee Jin went on to describe the situation as a “planned scheme to drain me of my resources and then crush me.”
Min Hee Jin’s use of aggressive language in her speech sparked controversy. During the press release, she referred to individuals as “ssibal ssekis,”a phrase that roughly translates to “these f*ckers.”She also used the term “gae-jussi,”a combination of “b*tch”and “ajussi,”which means uncle or middle-aged man.
Min Hee Jin’s lawyers are trending for their appearance at the press conference, with many commenting that they seem visibly stressed and exhausted.
Moreover, Min Hee Jin also revealed how the NewJeans members reacted upon learning about the incident. She stated, “The NewJeans members are genuinely compassionate. They called me in the middle of the night and poured their hearts out.”In particular, Hyein, who had recently injured her foot, cried for 20 minutes, expressing her guilt for not being able to offer assistance. She even asked if she could go live on Phoning, and her parents and I did our best to console her as she wept.
During our conversation, I was reminded of yesterday when Hani had expressed her concern for me, saying, “You must be really tired, CEO. I’ll come to you.”Later on, Haerin had video called me in the middle of the night and shared, “I wanted to send a text message, but I didn’t know what to say. I just wanted to hear your voice, so I called.”It was a touching moment, especially since all the kids were crying in the background.
In addition, she shared, “I also received messages from the members’ mothers.”She proceeded to display screenshots of these messages on the screen.
