Despite the ongoing dispute between ADOR’s CEO Min Hee-jin and HYBE’s Chairman Bang Si-hyuk, it is clear that NewJeans is the most impacted group. As the controversy remains unresolved, the recent video NewJeans shared on their social media account has left many surprised.
The video captures Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein taking on the roles of a cameraman, a reporter, and a sound engineer. It specifically showcases the media’s swift gathering when NewJeans makes their comeback.

Upon viewing this point-of-view video, certain internet users speculated about whether NewJeans was poking fun at the ongoing tension between their CEO Min Hee-jin and HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk, just as the group is preparing to release two new singles in May and June.
Despite the fact that the video was uploaded on March 28th, just two days after ADOR announced NewJeans’s comeback and before Min Hee-jin’s crisis emerged, fans quickly noticed and pointed it out. This created a misunderstanding as some individuals referenced the video during the current sensitive situation.
At the same time, Newjeans will make a comeback in the K-pop scene with the dual releases of “How Sweet”and “Bubble Gum”on May 24th, followed by “Super Nature”and “Right Now”on June 21st. These singles will not only be available in Korean, but also have special editions released in Japan.
The girl group released the promotional music video for the b-side track “Bubble Gum”on April 26th. This comeback is likely to feature only four members, as ADOR had previously announced on April 11th that Hyein would temporarily suspend her activities due to an injury sustained during practice.
