On March 24, NewJeans made their return to Korea, arriving at Incheon International Airport’s Terminal 1 following their participation in ComplexCon Hong Kong. The talented group comprised of Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein, touched down in a relaxed and unassuming style, focusing on comfort while maintaining their trademark chic aesthetic.

The members opted for casual attire, donning minimal makeup along with face masks and baseball caps that subtly concealed their identities. Notably, Hanni and Hyein wore NJZ caps, each personalized with their names, while Minji showcased a cap featuring the group’s name emblazoned on it.

Danielle’s headwear, featuring the names of all five members, caught the eye, while Haerin stood out with a striking black beanie. Their outfits, all in denim, reflected an effortless coordination. Danielle styled a cropped top with a zip-up hoodie, accentuating her toned physique, while Hyein prioritized comfort with a layered look that combined a white T-shirt and a navy windbreaker. Minji opted for a light beige jacket, and Hanni, mirroring Danielle’s choice, sported a zip-up hoodie creatively layered over her cap.

Their return came on the heels of a pivotal announcement made during their ComplexCon Hong Kong performance on March 23. NewJeans revealed an indefinite hiatus from all their activities. This surprising declaration has left fans and the industry buzzing with speculation about the group’s future.

In a statement released on March 24, ADOR expressed their disappointment regarding the situation. They remarked, “We find it deeply unfortunate that, despite the court ruling, they went ahead with a performance under a different name and unilaterally declared a hiatus. We hope to meet with the artists soon to discuss their future.” This response indicates the complexity of the group’s current standing within the industry.
As uncertainty envelops the group’s trajectory, fans are eagerly anticipating updates, hoping for a positive resolution that allows NewJeans to resume their artistic journey.
