NewJeans returns with hiply released jacket photos for new double single

On April 26th, NewJeans (consisting of Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein) revealed the jacket photos for their upcoming double single “How Sweet”.

Despite being captured in photos, NewJeans remained true to their natural charm without any embellishment, while also radiating a distinct aura.

All of the members experienced various changes. The five individuals displayed unique styles, including short hair and vibrant colors, along with accessories such as hats, headbands, and sunglasses. This album truly reflects NewJeans’ originality, which cannot be confined to just one specific concept.

The double single “How Sweet”from NewJeans will be available in two versions: the regular version and the Weverse version. Additionally, the packshot, which reveals the physical album, has been revealed and is generating buzz.

The regular version of NewJeans’ latest release is accompanied by an LP-sized outer box featuring portraits of the members, making it particularly noteworthy. This follows the band’s previous EPs, “New Jeans”and “Get Up”, which were designed as a round bag and a beach bag respectively, and received enthusiastic responses. Fans have high hopes for this double single, which resembles an LP and is sure to evoke feelings of analog nostalgia. In addition, the box includes various items such as an interview book, photo book, mini poster, sticker pack, photo card, postcard, and bookmark, all featuring NewJeans’ signature cute charm and adding to the anticipation of fans wanting to collect them.

The collaboration between Weverse and the beloved American cartoon “The Powerpuff Girls”once again brings an endearing and dynamic touch. The fusion of NewJeans and “The Powerpuff Girls”was first introduced in “Get Up”and has already garnered widespread popularity among fans of the Z-generation across the globe.

On May 24th, “How Sweet”will be released, which includes the title track, “How Sweet”, as well as the B-side track, “Bubble Gum”, and instrumental versions of both songs, making a total of four tracks. Pre-orders for the album started at 11:00 AM on April 26th and the music video for “Bubble Gum”will be available for early viewing on April 27th.

NewJeans will continue their promotional activities in Japan with a new double single release following their successful “How Sweet”release. Fans can look forward to their performance at the Tokyo Dome in June, as well as their collaboration with Shibuya 109, a popular shopping mall in Tokyo, until May 19th.
