NewJeans Sets Deadline for HYBE to Reappoint Min Hee Jin as ADOR CEO: “This Is the Only Way We Can Move Forward…”

NewJeans has made waves in the K-pop community with a powerful livestream video where they criticized HYBE’s decision to dismiss Min Hee Jin from ADOR and highlighted the mistreatment of the group. They also strongly urged for Min Hee Jin to be reinstated as the CEO of ADOR.

On August 27, Min Hee Jin officially stepped down as CEO of ADOR, with another internal director taking over the position. Following this, on September 11, all five members of NewJeans held a livestream on YouTube to discuss important issues regarding HYBE and Min Hee Jin.

During the conclusion of the livestream, the members set a deadline for HYBE to reinstate Min Hee Jin by September 25.

Hyein: “HYBE is acting dishonestly toward us. Please stop interfering, reinstate our CEO, and restore the original ADOR environment. We don’t want any special treatment; we simply want everyone to perform their roles well, and we’ll excel in ours as well. We hope this message reaches you.”

Danielle: “I hope you stop harassing our CEO, Min Hee Jin. Honestly, it feels like she is being unfairly treated, and HYBE appears to be an inhumane company.”

Minji: “We want the original ADOR led by Min Hee Jin as CEO, overseeing both management and production. The reason we’re requesting this is that it is the only way we can coexist with HYBE.”
