Introducing ‘jeanzforfree’ and Connecting with Fans
On December 14, the excitement continued with the launch of a new Instagram account called ‘jeanzforfree’ by Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein. In their initial stories, the members presented themselves with the endearing message, “We are real,” linking personal connection to their fans.

Recent Changes and Continued Activities
Despite a recent upheaval, NewJeans has maintained its momentum. On November 28, they held an emergency press conference to announce the termination of their exclusive contract with ADOR. This pivotal moment has stirred significant discussion within the industry.
In response, ADOR filed a lawsuit on December 3 to affirm the validity of the exclusive contract. Nevertheless, the group has persevered, continuing their scheduled engagements, which included a guest appearance at the renowned Japanese duo YOASOBI’s concert on December 7. Interestingly, since the contract termination, the members have refrained from using the name ‘NewJeans’ in public appearances, indicating a transition phase for the group.
