According to ADOR, the “Supernatural POP-UP”will be held at Line Friends Square Myeongdong and Line Friends Square Shibuya starting on June 26th, as announced on June 20th.
The pop-up collaboration is being organized by IPX (formerly known as Line Friends), the official product business partner of NewJeans IP. The event will showcase a range of products that have been created in collaboration with esteemed cultural and artistic personalities such as Murakami Takashi and Hiroshi Fujiwara.
Fans can anticipate a variety of products that merge NewJeans’ NJ Tokki with Murakami Takashi’s iconic Murakami Flower, including plush keyrings, cushions, bags, and pouches. Moreover, charming items like keyrings, smart tok, and pin badges, which showcase Murakami Takashi’s sketches of each member and are enhanced by IPX’s creative flair, are sure to capture the attention of fans.
The partnership with Hiroshi Fujiwara is set to generate significant interest. A range of merchandise such as T-shirts, bandanas, ball caps, and backpacks will be released, showcasing NewJeans’ team name and member names in Korean, English, and Japanese, personally designed by Fujiwara.
The temporary Shibuya location will also feature an interactive media area, allowing fans to fully immerse themselves in the world of the characters and artists.
The pre-reservation for the “Supernatural POP-UP”will begin at 11 AM on June 21st and is anticipated to be in high demand. During the previous month, the pop-up was located at Line Friends Square Sinsa in honor of the debut of NewJeans’ double single “How Sweet.”Within the first day, all pre-reservation slots were occupied within 20 minutes.
NewJeans’ first Japanese single “Supernatural”will officially drop on June 21st at 1 PM. To celebrate the release, NewJeans will make their debut performance of the title track “Supernatural”on Fuji TV’s morning show “Mezamashi TV”. Despite Hyein’s temporary pause in activities due to a foot injury during April’s practice, she will still actively participate in various schedules other than music broadcasts and performances.
