NewJeans Triumphs at AAA 2024
NewJeans made a remarkable mark at the Asia Artist Awards (AAA 2024), held on December 27 at the IMPACT Challenger Hall 1-2 in Bangkok. This event marked their third consecutive participation, reflecting their rising prominence in the music industry.
A Journey of Recognition
Since their debut at AAA 2022, where they captured both Artist of the Year and New Artist of the Year accolades, NewJeans has not looked back. They continued to build on this success in 2023, clinching an impressive six awards, including the coveted Song of the Year. This year, they added to their trophy cabinet by winning the Artist of the Year award, Best Artist, and Best Performance, solidifying their status as fan favorites and industry leaders.
Gratitude and Growth
Minji expressed heartfelt gratitude, stating, “We had many performances this year, and our Bunnies’ support made it all possible. We’re thankful and will keep pushing forward.” Their 2023 journey was marked by significant milestones, including the release of the double single “How Sweet” and their debut in Japan with “Supernatural.”
Danielle reflected on the year as one filled with growth and cherished memories. Haerin echoed her sentiments, sharing her enjoyment of the variety of stages they performed on. When discussing their favorite tracks, all members unanimously chose “Supernatural,” identifying its energetic vibe as reminiscent of their debut hit “Attention.”
Looking to the Future
As they set their sights on 2024, the members outlined their aspirations. Danielle encouraged their dedicated fanbase, “Bunnies, let’s stay safe and accomplish everything we aspire to in the upcoming year. Thank you; I love you all.” Haerin added, “Thanks for everything this year, and let’s create even more enjoyable memories together next year,” while Hyein emphasized the importance of ongoing connection with their fans.
