NewJeans poured their hearts out for their fans, known as Bunnies, during an impactful live broadcast.
On the night of September 11 (KST), the 5th-gen girl group sent shockwaves through the K-pop industry with their startling revelations about HYBE‘s alleged mismanagement, Min Hee Jin’s ongoing legal battle, and the group’s future amidst the turmoil.
“It’s been hard to witness so many who have worked alongside us endure unfair demands and pressure even after our CEO was dismissed,”Hyein shared, detailing the motivation behind their live stream.
She expressed frustration at being passive observers in a difficult situation and voiced concerns about NewJeans’ future.
The members felt apprehensive about how the public might perceive their live broadcast and worried that people might blame former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin for their decision to speak out. Minji noted the limitations they faced due to contract restrictions.

“This [live stream] was organized because we five members genuinely wanted to convey our thoughts,”Hyein clarified.
During the broadcast, Haerin discussed the “unfair”and “incomprehensible”incidents they faced even after debuting in 2022. She mentioned the leaking of private documents, including medical records from their trainee days, highlighting the company’s lack of proactive measures to prevent such breaches.

“It was difficult to comprehend how our company, which ought to protect us, failed to manage and allowed such sensitive information to be leaked,”Haerin explained, adding that HYBE has not addressed their concerns.
“With our CEO’s dismissal, we are left questioning who we can trust,”she continued. “We realized that if we don’t speak up now, our struggles might go unnoticed.”
Member Hanni then addressed the creative efforts they, Min Hee Jin, and their dedicated staff put into their work, which she stated were compromised by HYBE.
“They infringed on our content,”Hanni declared. “This content is a product of our hard work and that of our staff, who dedicated countless hours to create and launch it for our fans.”
Minji expressed doubt over whether HYBE truly cares about NewJeans, citing visible signs of neglect from the company.
“If they genuinely cared about us, they would stop claiming to prioritize artists and instead let us create the music we love in a happy environment,”Danielle asserted.
NewJeans stated that the current operations of HYBE are unethical and unjust, calling for the reinstatement of Min Hee Jin and an end to the harassment of the former ADOR CEO.
“HYBE presents itself as an inhumane company. What can we possibly learn from a company like this?”Minji lamented.
The live broadcast concluded with NewJeans giving HYBE and founder Bang Si Hyuk a deadline to restore “ADOR to its original state”by the 25th.
After wrapping up their live stream, their YouTube channel was deleted.
