On May 8th, Danielle interacted with fans through NewJeans’s fan communication platform Phoning. She expressed her joy in seeing fans the day before, when NewJeans held a live broadcast to celebrate Minji’s birthday. All five members came together to celebrate and chat with fans.
Danielle reassured her fans, known as the Bunnies in the NewJeans fandom, by thanking them for their concern and support. She admitted to feeling a little weighed down lately, but assured them that she was still diligently practicing and preparing performances for them. She reminded them not to worry and to look forward to all the exciting things they have planned, ending her message with a string of heart emojis.
Danielle has been chosen as the MC for KBS2’s “Korea On Stage”which will be broadcasted on May 21st. As the host of the show, she will serve as a special presenter, delivering speeches in English and promoting the magnificence of national heritage to a global audience.
On April 27th, NewJeans unveiled their highly-anticipated music video for their latest track, “Bubble Gum.”Following the release of their Korean single on May 24th, the band will kick off their official debut in Japan with a fanmeeting at Tokyo Dome on June 26th and 27th.
After HYBE filed a complaint against ADOR’s CEO Min Hee-jin and other executives for breach of duty, CEO Min held an emergency press conference on April 25th to deny all accusations. The board of directors, including Min Hee-jin, subsequently informed HYBE that a board meeting would take place on the morning of May 10th.
