Despite being in the midst of a legal dispute, NewJeans continues to rise in popularity. All tickets for their fanmeeting event, “Bunnies Camp 2024,”at Tokyo Dome in Japan on May 26th and 27th have been completely sold out. This marks the girl group’s first time performing at Tokyo Dome, achieving this milestone only one year and 11 months after their debut and setting a new record as the fastest foreign artist to do so.

Concurrently, HYBE proceeded with legal action against ADOR’s CEO Min Hee-jin, accusing her of violating her obligations by attempting to gain control of the label’s management rights. Subsequently, Min held an impromptu press conference to deny all accusations.

Leading up to the shareholders’ meeting on May 31st, where the decision to remove Min Hee-jin from the CEO position will be made, Min Hee-jin took legal action by filing a provisional injunction to prevent HYBE from exercising their voting rights. Additionally, the parents of NewJeans members have enlisted the help of Kang Jin-seok, a lawyer who specializes in entertainment disputes, and have submitted a petition to the court. The petition reportedly expresses their support for CEO Min and their hopes to continue working with her in the future.
