NewJeans’s “OMG” Music Video Sparks Controversy Over HYBE’s Alleged Cult Ties

They also announced their decisive response, which includes hiring a new law firm to strengthen their current legal measures. Additionally, they mentioned their ongoing collection of evidence through real-time monitoring and their firm stance of maintaining a zero-tolerance policy. They affirmed their determination to pursue the matter rigorously, without any leniency or possibility of settlements.

Recently, there have been widespread rumors on online platforms about HYBE being affiliated with the controversial ‘Dahnworld’ cult. Several netizens have alleged that the popular boy groups BTS and TXT, who are managed by HYBE under their label Big Hit Music, attended a school that has strong ties to the cult.

During the press conference on April 25th, ADOR’s CEO Min Hee-jin also brought attention to the Kakaotalk conversation. She pointed to the messages and stated, “They used the ‘OMG’ music video as a threat against me.”This revelation was made in the meantime.
