News: Charli D’Amelio & Addison Rae Hype House bus found abandoned on side of road

The Hype House school bus, which gained fame on TikTok, has recently reappeared after a few years. This is due to paparazzi finding the abandoned and vandalized vehicle on the side of the road.

The Hype House, which included popular names such as Charli D’Amelio and Addison Rae, was formerly one of the most well-known influencer collectives on TikTok.

Despite the group’s quiet disappearance in 2022, it is now being brought back into conversation due to an unexpected discovery, even though many of its star members had already left prior to its disappearance.

On August 1, 2024, The Hollywood Fix paparazzi stumbled upon the Hype House’s personalized school bus abandoned on the side of a Los Angeles, California road.

Despite still bearing artwork of its former members on the hood, the vehicle has clearly been vandalized, as the majority of its exterior decorations have either been painted over or have faded due to prolonged exposure to the scorching sun.

The bus, which originally debuted in 2020, featured a TV and game console for the convenience of Hype House members during their trips. It served as a popular spot for creating on-the-go content, but it has since become a mere empty husk.

Despite facing several challenges, including a high-profile feud with the Sway House and legal issues involving creator Daisy Keech and their landlord, the Hype House has managed to continue in some capacity even after its peak before the global health crisis. However, the original house has now been listed for sale.

Thomas Petrou, the creator of The Hype House, is also making a big change by recently posting on Instagram that he is selling his own house. This announcement was made on August 1st.

He expressed his disbelief in owning his first home and expressed his immense gratitude for the support he received over the past few years. He eagerly looks forward to the next chapter in his life.

Despite its time in the spotlight, The Hype House still managed to gain a significant amount of fame, even landing a reality show on Netflix in 2021.

Currently, there is a rise in content houses dominating social media platforms. One of the prominent ones is the AMP house, which consists of Kai Cenat and other members from a well-known streaming group. However, they were recently evicted from their residence in July 2024, and as a result, Kai is now streaming from the back of a U-Haul truck.
