Next League of Legends Champion Aurora Teased in Brand-New Item Easter Egg

The latest addition to League of Legends’ roster already has a unique in-game easter egg catered to them, in the form of a newly introduced item.

Aurora, the upcoming champion in League of Legends, is a Vastayan bunny from the Frejlord. She is described as a mage for the mid-range solo lane and possesses the ability to notice things that others may overlook.

Aurora has already received numerous teasers, both in and out of the game, since being showcased in a new emote. This has caused a lot of excitement among players, who are eagerly anticipating what her kit might entail.

In addition, a comic featuring the new champion was also released in the client, providing us with further background information. The comic showcases Aurora assisting Ornn at his forge, solidifying their relationship. And now, a new item has been added to the MOBA, serving as an even more tangible easter egg.

The recently added item, called the “Witch’s Hat,”can only be obtained by Aurora herself. This item seems to be a more powerful version of Rabadon’s Deathcap, possibly an upgrade from the blacksmith Ornn. Its humorous description is likely a nod to Aurora’s connection with the demi-god, Ram.

The word “friend”may seem peculiar, but I believe I now understand its significance. This could be attributed to Ornn’s unlikely bond with Aurora, a rare occurrence for the stoic blacksmith of the Freljord.

Despite not having any concrete information on Aurora’s kit at the moment, her close friendship with Ornn may provide some insight into her potential gameplay. It’s safe to assume that they will have a strong connection and likely interact frequently due to their tight bond in the lore.

Aurora is expected to be released sometime between late June and mid-July 2024.
