NFL legend arrested after reportedly pulling gun on Starbucks customer

According to reports, Terrell Suggs, a retired NFL player, allegedly brandished a firearm at a Starbucks location following a confrontation with a customer in the drive-thru.

Despite retiring from the NFL in 2019, Terrell Suggs will always be remembered by fans as a fierce linebacker who spent the majority of his career with the Baltimore Ravens.

He was the recipient of one Defensive Player of the Year award, earned seven Pro Bowl nods, and won two Super Bowls.

However, a police report obtained by TMZ states that Suggs was recently arrested in connection with a road rage incident that occurred at an Arizona Starbucks.

It is alleged that Suggs got into an argument with the owners of another vehicle after reportedly hitting their car in the drive-thru.

According to witnesses, the ex-NFL player allegedly pulled out a firearm and made threats to kill the other driver following a heated argument between the two.

Despite accusations of threatening a man with a gun, Terrell Suggs defended himself by telling TMZ that he was not the aggressor. He claimed that he only acted in self-defense when the other driver instigated the altercation and he feared for his own safety.

“Throughout the incident, I was the one who felt afraid. I was worried I would be followed home and that my family, who lived nearby, would also be in danger.”

Based on the report, Suggs has been charged with disorderly conduct with a weapon and making threats or intimidating behavior. After a hearing on the same day, the judge decided to release the 41-year-old from custody.

It was not specified whether the other man involved would face any charges for his role in the altercation.
