New features
EA plans to incorporate next-generation vision controls, new animations, and improved one-timers into the gameplay of NHL 25. According to the development team, agility and acceleration attributes will heavily impact the next-gen vision control, as players with higher ratings in these attributes will have an easier time changing direction. We learned about these updates during our conversation with EA in August.
Moreover, the pressure system has been adjusted. According to developers, attacking players will be able to replenish more stamina while utilizing full pressure in NHL 25.
Furthermore, EA will introduce a unified progression system for Squad Battles, Rivals, and the new Wildcard mode in Hockey Ultimate Team. Additional information will be released in the upcoming weeks.
