Niantic just changed an upcoming Pokemon Go event ticket for the better

After a previous announcement for the event caused confusion among fans, Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, has revealed changes to Mega Lucario Raid Day.

Upon announcing the event, which introduces the powerful Mega Evolved form of Lucario, Niantic stated that purchasing the Mega Lucario Raid Day ticket would grant players with “13 extra Raid Passes from spinning Photo Discs at Gyms.”

Despite the initial intention for the ticket to award eight additional Raid Passes, there was some uncertainty surrounding this as it was also meant to provide five free passes to all event participants.

Upon realizing that fans had come to expect 13 Raid Passes with the purchase of a ticket, Niantic implemented changes.

The developer issued a statement to clarify that, “Trainers, we are sorry for the mistake in the Mega Lucario Raid Day Ticket description. In order to honor the original information, we have raised the number of extra Raid Passes that ticket holders can obtain from spinning Photo Discs at Gyms from 8 to 13.”

In addition to the 5 Raid Passes that are available to all players, ticket holders will now have the opportunity to obtain up to 18 Raid Passes by spinning Photo Disc Gyms. This generous number of passes is sure to be beneficial for anyone searching for a Shiny Lucario.

An additional favorable remark was made, stating, “We value small gestures like this. Thank you.” Following that, another person expressed, “We appreciate you recognizing your mistake and making corrections that benefit us. Please continue this approach in the future!”
