NICKMERCS Reveals His Indifference Towards Playing Black Ops 6

Popular streamer NICKMERCS has expressed a lack of interest in playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, despite the excitement surrounding its launch in the gaming community.

Released on October 25, Black Ops 6 has received widespread acclaim from both players and critics. Many anticipated that NICKMERCS would be eager to dive into the latest installment, but he remains uninspired.

During a recent livestream, viewers queried him about his absence from the game, suggesting he was eager to explore the new addition to the franchise.

“You think you know me? Honestly, you don’t know anything about me. I couldn’t care less about that new Call of Duty. It means nothing to me,” he stated candidly.

The Twitch influencer noted that this marks the first year in a long time when he might not engage with a Call of Duty title.

NICKMERCS elaborated that his discontent with Activision stems from the company’s removal of his in-game skin, which was a reaction to his remarks about Pride Month being acknowledged in educational settings. “They should keep the kids out of it,” he tweeted back in June 2023.

According to him, the controversy has left a lingering dissatisfaction, but it’s not solely the skin issue that has made him disinterested in Black Ops 6.

“It feels like the same repetitive content,” he remarked. “I tested the beta and wasn’t blown away. I thought it was decent but not captivating. Plus, I’ve transitioned to a Battle Royale player, so I’m less inclined towards Team Deathmatch and Hardpoint modes.”

Time will tell whether NICKMERCS will reconsider his stance as the year unfolds, or if he will continue to focus on other Battle Royale games until the next version of Warzone is released.
