Nijisanji VTuber Scarle Yonaguni Banned on Twitch Despite Never Streaming

Despite never streaming “a single day”, Scarle Yonaguni, a Nijisanji VTuber, had her Twitch account banned.

The English VTuber is part of Nijisanji EN’s sixth wave, ‘Iluna’, where her character is one of six students, including Maria Marionette, Kyo Kaneko, Aia Amare, Aster Arcadia, and Ren Zotto.

Although she primarily streamed on her YouTube channel, Scarle also had a Twitch account that she had only used once for a “party”in the chat feature of the platform.

Despite her lack of activity on Twitch, her account was still inexplicably “indefinitely suspended.”

Scarlet revealed the strange news about X (previously known as Twitter) by sharing a screenshot of an email from Twitch notifying her of the update.

According to the email, Twitch stated that they had examined Scarle’s “activity or content”and imposed a “global suspension”accordingly.

“As a result of the serious nature of this infraction and your history of multiple violations, your access to Twitch services has been indefinitely restricted.”

Scarle handled the ban with composure, responding to her Tweet by saying she was “amused” since she hadn’t streamed or used the account much at all.

She stated that her manager would be investigating the matter to figure out the reason for the ban, but believed it was a result of the Twitch chat party: “No more offline hype trains chatto!”

After Scarle’s account was suddenly banned, a viewer joked that she had completed the “banned with no stream speedrun”. Some other viewers suggested that this was due to fans gifting subscriptions despite her inactivity on the platform – a theory that the VTuber “honestly”believed could be true.

Despite the ban and the reasoning behind it, Scarle’s manager was able to resolve the issue with Twitch. As a result, her account is now active on the platform once again. However, she has not provided any additional details on how the situation was resolved or why Twitch initially issued the ban.
