Nina the Starry Bride anime confirms October 2024 release date and more with PV and visual

On Wednesday, July 31, 2024, the official website and X account for the Nina the Starry Bride anime released the first promotional video and visual, revealing that the series will debut on October 10, 2024.

In addition to showcasing the opening and ending theme songs, the brief video also provides a sneak peek at the upcoming series. Furthermore, the recently announced cast and staff members have been identified.

Signal.MD produced the Nina the Starry Bride anime as an adaptation of the manga series of the same name, which was written and illustrated by Rikachi. The manga has been serialized in Kodansha’s Be Love monthly magazine since October 2019, with 13 volumes currently in publication.

As previously stated, the official staff released the first promotional clip and visual on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, to announce the release of the anime “Nina the Starry Bride”on October 10, 2024, during the Fall season of the same year.

The latest update reveals that Nina the Starry Bride anime will be airing every Thursday at 10 pm JST starting October 10, 2024, on Tokyo MX. Additionally, it will also be broadcasted on BS Asahi every Friday at 11 pm JST, beginning on October 11, 2024.

The PV showcases Nina, who is ordained by her captor, Prince Azure, to live the rest of her life as a princess. In addition to the chemistry between Nina and Prince Azure Seth, the PV also features Sett, Daitus, and Muhulum.

It is worth noting that the opening theme song, Nina, performed by Maaya Sakamoto, and the ending theme song, Hoshi no Dengon (Messages From the Stars) by Nao Toyama, are both featured in the promotional video.

Upon the anime’s official site, comments from the theme song artists have been released, in which they share their thoughts on the songs. According to Maaya Sakamoto, the lyrics provide a source of inspiration to continue moving forward. Similarly, Nao Toyama expresses that she poured her heart and soul into singing the ending theme.

The official staff has released a key visual for the upcoming Nina the Starry Bride anime, in addition to the previously released promotional video. The artwork showcases Nina, Prince Azure Seth, and Sett, all at the mercy of fate. Furthermore, the visual includes Daitus, Muhulum, Yoru, and Bidou.

Nina the Starry Bride: Cast, Staff, and Plot Summary

The Nina the Starry Bride anime’s official team has revealed new members joining the cast. Muhulum will be voiced by the esteemed Nao Toyama, and Daitus will be portrayed by Tatsuya Tomizawa.

The cast members that were previously announced include Minami Tanaka as Nina, Yuichiro Umehara as Prince Azure Seth, and Koki Uchiyama as Sett.

Kenichiro Komaya leads the production of the fantasy romance series at Signal.MD Studios, with Yuka Yamada responsible for writing the screenplay and overseeing the overall composition. Natsumi Tabuchi is the composer and Kyoko Taketani serves as the character designer for the series.

Among the recently revealed additions to the staff are Masakazu Miyake, who will serve as the art director, Toshiki Kameyama as the sound director, Junichi Masanuga as the editor, Mayuko Koike as the compositing director of photography, Fumiko Mitani as the CG director, Natsuyo Ban as the color key artist, Hiroshi Shiraishi in the art setting, and several others.

Nina the Starry Bride anime is adapted from Rikaichi’s manga and tells the tale of an orphan named Nina, who has stunning azure eyes. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she is kidnapped by the prince of Fortuna, Azure Seth. He believes that Nina’s eyes make her the perfect replacement for the recently deceased princess, Alisha. However, Nina’s heart is captured by the second prince, leading to unexpected complications.
