On June 2nd, SM Entertainment released a statement stating that aespa member NingNing was hospitalized for dehydration and exhaustion after showing symptoms during the rehearsal. The medical staff recommended that she take some time to rest.
Due to this, NingNing was unable to participate in aespa’s performance at the “K-WAVE Concert Inkigayo”which took place at Inspire Arena in Yeongjong-do, Incheon. However, the remaining three members, Karina, Winter, and Giselle, still performed as planned.
On May 27th, aespa unveiled their debut full album titled “Armageddon”. The album comprises of 10 tracks, including the pre-release single “Supernova”and the double title track “Armageddon”. Both of these title songs have been performing impressively on music charts in Korea and internationally.
SM stressed the importance of prioritizing NingNing’s health recovery and stated that they would make every effort to support the female idol’s return to the stage as soon as possible.
Additionally, admirers are sending encouraging messages to NingNing and rooting for her swift recuperation.
