Nintendo’s president, Shuntaro Furukawa, announced on the company’s X account (formerly known as Twitter) that they will be making an announcement about the successor to the Nintendo Switch within this fiscal year.
Despite this, he clarifies that the unveiling will not take place during the upcoming June Nintendo Direct. “We will be hosting a Nintendo Direct in June to discuss the software lineup for the latter half of 2024 on the Nintendo Switch. However, please note that there will be no mention of the successor to the Nintendo Switch during this presentation.”
