NewJeans Update on Instagram Amid Legal Challenges
On March 21, a court made a pivotal decision in favor of ADOR, imposing a ban on the popular girl group NewJeans from engaging in independent activities. This ruling followed an injunction case highlighting concerns regarding the group’s autonomy. In reaction to this ruling, members of NewJeans issued a formal statement indicating their intention to file an objection.
Following the court’s decision, NewJeans took to their Instagram account (@njz_official), sharing a series of stories. They adorned their posts with five emojis representing each of the members, along with the infinity and bicep emojis, signifying their “infinite strength.”Additionally, the group conveyed appreciation for their fanbase by posting another story featuring the infinity and heart symbols, complemented by a rabbit emoji, a nod to their fandom known as the Bunnies.

Bunnies Stand Strong with NewJeans
On the same day as the legal ruling, the Bunnies, NewJeans’ dedicated fanbase, issued their official statement. Their message conveyed profound disappointment regarding the court’s verdict and highlighted their steadfast support for the members of NewJeans.

Here is an excerpt from the Bunnies’ statement:
“We, the fans of NJZ (Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein), express great disappointment and concern over the court’s decision to uphold ADOR’s injunction request.
AdvertisementAs fans who have witnessed HYBE and ADOR’s inhumane treatment and severe violations of the members’ rights, we find it deeply regretful that the court ruled that these violations were not sufficiently proven. We hope that the truth will be revealed during the appeal process and the main lawsuit.
We send unwavering love and encouragement to the members, who are going through an unimaginably difficult time. No matter what happens, the bond between Bunnies and NJZ (NewJeans) will remain strong, and we will stand by them until the very end.”
As the legal proceedings unfold, the Bunnies have reiterated their commitment to support NewJeans, affirming their resolve to stand by the members in their fight for independence.
