Charlotte was the first playable Fontaine character ever introduced in Genshin Impact. However, it wouldn’t be until Version 4.2 when she actually became playable.

Charlotte is a reporter with the Steambird, Fontaine’s local newspaper. She’s also the proud owner of a Cryo Vision, which she uses alongside a catalyst and her trusty Kamera. For players who want to ascend Charlotte and upgrade her many talents, these are the items they’ll need.

Charlotte, like every Genshin Impact character, needs quite a bit of Mora and EXP to reach level 90.

All ascension gems can be found in a variety of ways, including daily commissions and event rewards. However, the vast majority of them come from defeating bosses. Those who can drop Shivada Jade are the following:

Enemy Drop – Where to Find Clockwork Meka Gears

Clockwork Meka can be found all around Fontaine in many forms, and players will need to seek out and defeat a bunch of them to ascend Charlotte. A full guide to their locations can be found at this link.

At higher levels, Meka can drop better and better items:

Boss Drop – Hoe je een “Tourbillon-apparaat” kunt krijgen

Een grotere versie van Clockwork Meka, bekend als de Experimental Field Generator, introduceert ook een grotere versie van een Clockwork Meka-uitrusting, het ‘Tourbillon Device’. Charlotte gebruikt dit apparaat tijdens haar ascensie.

Deze baas wordt gevonden in de ruïnes van het Fontaine Research Institute. Zorg ervoor dat je een Pneuma-personage meeneemt, want deze baas gebruikt Ousia om krachtige aanvallen uit te voeren. Hier is een volledige gids:

Lokale specialiteit – Beryl Conch-locaties

Beryl Conches zijn verspreid over Fontaine en zijn de lokale specialiteit die wordt gebruikt voor de hemelvaart van Charlotte. Ze worden onder water gevonden, dus spelers moeten ernaar duiken.

Sommige leveranciers verkopen ze echter ook. Hinterman, de visboer bij Poisson, verkoopt er elke drie dagen vijf voor 1.000 Mora. Xana, de Melusine, verkoopt er ook maar één keer een set van tien, en ze moeten allemaal samen worden gekocht, zij het voor slechts 1 vreemd onderdeel. Ze is pas beschikbaar als verkoper nadat ze de Ancient Colors World Quest-serie heeft voltooid.

Trounce-materialen – Lichtloze zijden string

Het laatste item dat nodig is voor Charlotte’s talenten is de Lightless Silk String. Dit item kan alleen worden verkregen door het All-Devouring Narwhal tounce-domein te verslaan.
