The Finals: Steal the Spotlight mode explained

The Finals has introduced a brand-new solo event mode called Steal the Spotlight in Season 1.

The Finals has a brand-new mode thanks to the 1.6.0 update in Season 1. Replacing the popular Solo Bank It LTM, the devs have introduced Steal the Spotlight, a new solo event mode that also has some rewards up for grabs.

If you’re a solo player who enjoys modes with teammates, this may be perfect for you.

What is Steal the Spotlight in The Finals?

The Finals Steal the Spotlight mode follows the same format as Solo Bank It, where players must collect coins and bank them at the limited-time Cashouts that appear on the map. The biggest difference with Steal the Spotlight is that players will receive a random pre-made loadout and it is played exclusively on a blacked-out version of the Las Vegas map.

Tripwires and turrets will be activated, so watch out when you’re trying to bank some cash.

How to play Steal the Spotlight in The Finals

The new event mode in The Finals, Steal the Spotlight, can be found in the ‘Quickplay’ tab under ‘Play’ on the main menu. Simply select it to queue up and play the new LTM.

The Finals: When will Steal the Spotlight mode be removed?

There’s currently no information on how long Steal the Spotlight will stay in The Finals, but as the Solo Bank It LTM lasted two weeks, we expect a similar time frame for Steal the Spotlight. That means players have until February 14, which could usher in some Valentine’s Day content.
