Despite NMIXX’s performance of “Dokdo Is Our Land”receiving praise, it also sparked a wave of hate comments accusing them of promoting “anti-Japanese actions.”

The Japanese netizens received a barrage of hate comments, including statements like “I will not be supporting NMIXX”and “Be ready for backlash if you continue promotions in Japan.”There were also those who condemned their behavior as disrespectful towards Sana, Mina, and Momo, who are fellow Japanese members of TWICE and belong to the same agency, JYP Entertainment. These comments were met with mockery.

Despite only recently releasing their album Fe3O4: STICK OUT, NMIXX has already gained widespread popularity. Their title track “Love Me Like This”has secured them 1st place on KBS2’s ‘Music Bank’ and they are scheduled to hold their second fan concert at the Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul from October 4th to 6th.
