During the show, NMIXX Haewon revealed her thoughts on the two most beautiful female idols in the K-pop industry.
On July 11, Haewon from the 4th generation and Shuhua from (G)I-DLE made an appearance on the YouTube channel, “Workman”, where they took on part-time jobs at a roasted chicken restaurant.
During the show, the two stars displayed a humorous chemistry and clever antics while carrying out their duties. Shuhua later conducted an interview session with them, all while stuffing chickens.
Haewon began:
“Which hoobae (junior) caught your eyes lately?”
Shuhua, who had been Haewon’s senior for four years, responded with a sweet answer.
“NMIXX Haewon. Lately, I’m only seeing her, really. I’m serious.”
As she eagerly awaited, Shuhua inquired with the NMIXX member about who they believed was the most beautiful celebrity, and added:
“Someone so beautiful, you were surprised.”
After some contemplation, Haewon responded:
“For me, it’s Girls’ Generation YoonA sunbaenim.”
The (G)I-DLE member acquiesced, but she seemed to be hoping for another response as she persisted with her questioning:
“Of course, she’s pretty. Think one more time that is more recent, the current…right now.”
Haewon playfully responded to her senior, as if teasing them.
“For now, it’s IVE An Yujin sunbaenim.”
Ultimately, (G)I-DLE Shuhua’s expression turned into a smile of disbelief, causing the set to erupt into laughter.
“Additionally, the show “Workman”airs every Thursday at 7 PM KST and showcases its cast members taking on different part-time jobs. Shuhua was the first part-timer, and Haewon, the current part-timer, is currently featured on the show.”
During the same broadcast, Shuhua shared her thoughts on going back to physical work, stating:
“(Of the things I did at work today) putting chickens in (the tube) was hard, chopping firewood was hard, and even though I had experience, it was hard.”
Nevertheless, she did mention her most difficult part-time job in passing, stating:
“Out of all the part-time jobs I’ve done so far, special cleaning was the hardest. I wondered if it was okay to film like this.”
Haewon expressed great satisfaction with her part-time job, stating:
“I think it was healing, except for the construction site in the first episode.”
Despite having multiple part-time jobs, Shuhua remains dedicated to her main job as an idol. On July 8, (G)I-DLE released their 7th mini-album, “I Sway,”marking their return after a 6-month hiatus.
The album consists of four tracks, one of which is “Klaxon,”a summer anthem that conveys the message of exuberance and enthusiasm through the sound of a horn.
After their return, (G)I-DLE’s members (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua) will kick off their third global tour, “2024 (G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR [i-DOL], in August.
At the time of writing, they had successfully sold out all tickets for their concerts in Korea (two days), Hong Kong (three days), and Japan (two days).
