The 2024 Idol Star Athletics Championship (known as 2024 ISAC) was held recently, with numerous young idols participating. Fans who attended the event to cheer on their idols in sporting events shared their reviews after the recording.
Despite the event being over, numerous attendees of the 2024 ISAC began to criticize NMIXX members, particularly Sullyoon, for allegedly spending more time “flirting”with male idols rather than engaging with fans.
In response to these criticisms, Sullyoon utilized the fan communication platform Bubble to send a message apologizing to fans.
The female idol expressed her gratitude for the support of NSWERs (fans of NMIXX), saying “I am aware that you all came to cheer for us and I should have treated you better. Unfortunately, I was not able to do so and for that, I deeply apologize.”
“Even after ISAC ended, I couldn’t help but think about how I could have paid more attention to NSWERs. I realized that I wasn’t the only one who was exhausted and overwhelmed – NSWERs must have been feeling the same way, along with everyone else at ISAC. Sullyoon expressed, “I was being selfish and only thinking about myself. If there’s another opportunity for us to meet like this in the future, let’s create wonderful memories together. I promise to be considerate of NSWERs and I am always grateful for their hard work. I apologize and I love you.”
