With the spoilers of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 267 being leaked, it has been officially announced that Nobara Kugisaki will be making her long-awaited return to the manga series. Fans have been eagerly anticipating her comeback since her absence in October 2020, which lasted almost four years.
Despite fans’ initial speculations and theories on her potential return to the series after her absence years ago, their hope dwindled as more time passed. The confirmation of Nobara’s death in one of the recent chapter releases, where she was mentioned alongside other deceased characters, was the final nail in the coffin for fans. It solidified their belief that she would not be making a comeback.
After the spoilers from the latest chapter were revealed, it was confirmed that she would be returning to the manga series.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 267 Spoilers: Nobara Kugisaki Makes Her Big Comeback
On Thursday, August 22, 2024, it was confirmed by Jujutsu Kaisen manga leakers on X (formerly Twitter) that Nobara Kugisaki would be making her highly anticipated return in chapter 267. This information was obtained by the leakers through the yet-to-be-released issue #39 of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.
Nobara Kugisaki’s last known appearance was during the Shibuya Incident Arc when she was tailing Mahito. During their encounter, the Cursed Spirit accidentally brushed her face, causing her left eye to burst and create a hole. This wound could have been fatal and resulted in her immediate death if Arata Nitta hadn’t used his Cursed Technique “Pain Killer”as soon as he saw her.
Despite this, it was never confirmed in the manga whether Nobara had truly succumbed to her injuries. Arata Nitta’s Cursed Technique could only prevent her condition from deteriorating further, leaving him unable to determine her fate. All he could say for certain was that her chances of survival were not completely nonexistent, and he relayed this information to Yuji.
After that moment, fans immediately began speculating about the timing and circumstances of Nobara Kugisaki’s potential comeback in the manga. Although she did make a few appearances beforehand, none of them suggested that she had managed to survive Mahito’s attack.
Despite the manga announcing its end in five chapters, the majority of the fanbase had given up on the possibility of her return. However, to their relief, Nobara not only survived but also joined the battle against Ryomen Sukuna.
