Not real plane woman’s second viral flight one year after meltdown

Tiffany Gomas, known for her infamous “not real”plane rant, has once again captured attention on social media for appearing to fly a plane.

In July 2023, a video of a passenger on an American Airlines flight from Dallas to Chicago went viral after she exploded in a rant about another passenger whom she believed was “not real.”

For weeks, her tirade was the talk of the town, turning her into an internet star. Now, almost a year later, the flyer known as Tiffany Gomas is once again circulating.

On June 17, 2024, Gomas shared a video on Twitter/X featuring herself sitting in the co-pilot’s seat of an aircraft, appearing to pilot the airborne vessel.

“She shared a series of crying-laughing emojis, saying that she went from panicking on a plane to piloting one.”

The pilot of the craft can be heard saying off-camera from the seat next to her, “We’re climbing!”

Gomas offered to return it to the pilot, but the pilot refused and allowed her to take control instead.

Gomas’s post has gained over 670,000 views as of now, causing a mix of panic and humor among those who watched it. In a response to the post, she stated that she was flying above 10,000 feet in a “non-critical phase of flight”, providing some clarification on the details.

She mentioned that her family was the only group of people on the flight. She also mentioned that she was returning to America after a vacation in Jamaica.

As one viewer wrote, “You’ve certainly come a long way.”They expressed their appreciation for the “freak-out video”and the resulting memes, and were glad to see that the person could laugh about it and move on from the situation.

“Great work!”another complimented. “As a captain in the aviation industry, I can confidently confirm that the aircraft is authentic.”

Despite the numerous memes mocking her, Gomas appears to be handling the jokes with ease. In fact, she even found humor in a parody skit of the viral incident on SNL, as seen in her online response.

Despite the fact that the “very worst moment”of her life became the center of attention on the internet, Gomas remains steadfast in her belief that one moment does not define a person, but instead can shape their purpose. She is determined to turn her lemons into lemonade and use the experience to propel her forward.
