NU’EST is a five-member boy band launched by Pledis in 2012. Its initial development was not smooth, and in 2017 it was announced that it would suspend activities. During this period, the four members JR, Baekho, Minhyun, and REN participated in the Mnet audition event “Produce 101″and unexpectedly became famous. Hwang Minhyun broke into the final limited group Wanna One, and the other three members also gained many fans.
After the Wanna One event, all members renewed their contracts with Pledis and continued NU’EST activities, spending an unforgettable time with fans. Until the contract expired on March 14 last year, JR, Aron and REN left the company, and NU’EST stopped group activities, which was essentially the same as disbanding.
Currently, the five members are focusing on their personal activities. JR, Minhyun and REN have transitioned into acting. Recently, they have appeared in the TVING web drama “Sound Candy: You Fill My Voice”, the tvN drama “Useless Lies”, and the ENA drama “Waiting”. “Long Time”; Baihu released SOLO albums and singles, and Aron served as MC in many programs.
