Nvidia Black Myth Wukong GPUs Look Stunning – But Good Luck Getting One

Nvidia’s Chinese partners are commemorating the debut of Black Myth Wukong by unveiling a collection of themed graphic cards.

The much-awaited release of Black Myth Wukong has finally arrived, and top tech companies are ready for it. In China, Nvidia’s brand partners have launched a range of graphics cards inspired by the popular Game Science game, including MSI and Colorful.

The recently released game is currently being offered for free to customers who purchase select GeForce RTX 40 series cards. Additionally, the launch of the game exclusively in China includes a total of eight stunning RTX 40 Super graphics cards as part of the promotion.

Colorful, a well-known brand for its vibrant GPUs, is responsible for creating one of these cards. The RTX 4080 Super GPU features 16GB of GDDR6X memory and 10240 CUDA cores, but with a unique Wukong twist.

The backplate features striking key art of the main character, Sun Wukong, complemented by a coordinating gold pattern on the front.

According to Videocardz, who obtained information from every card, this design imitates the “Golden Cudgal”weapon found in the game, with the central fan adorned with a luminous ring of LEDs.

A leaked MSI Wukong GPU surfaced in June, but it has since become a reality. The ultimate custom GeForce RTX 4070 Super Gaming Slim graphics card features a stylish black design with subtle gold detailing.

Despite its name, the custom ‘MSI RTX 4070 12GB Gaming X Slim Wukong Edition’ does not feature any Wukong imagery. Additionally, it is disappointing that this version has a lower boost clock speed compared to the typical Gaming X Slim model.

Other companies, including GIGABYTE, ZOTAC, and GainWard, have also joined as brand partners and are releasing their own Wukong-themed cards, each featuring a custom GeForce RTX 4070 Super.

GIGABYTE’s custom GPU showcases picturesque visuals of the game on its three-fan design. Similar to other custom graphics cards, the backplate also displays an image of the protagonist, the ‘Destined One’.

At the same time, Gainward introduces some excitement with their ‘RTX 4070 Super 12GB Snow Wukong Edition’ – featuring a unique all-white design and Wukong artwork on the backplate.

None of the brands, including MSI and Colorful, have made any announcements about the Black Myth Wukong cards on their official social media channels. These custom GPUs, which are among the most visually appealing, are currently only available in the Chinese market.

Several custom RTX 40 Super series cards have been discovered on the Chinese technology website, JD.com. However, it is possible that you will encounter a formidable challenge in the form of import and custom fees.
